Hi, I’m Amy - a certified breastfeeding specialist and certified doula passionate about helping parents feel confident, supported, and empowered as they welcome their babies into the world.

My journey into birth and postpartum care began long before I ever called it a “career”. As a mother who breastfed triplets for 17 months - and later, another sweet child until the age of three - I’ve walked through the many joys, challenges, and sacred moments that come with nurturing new life.

After working over five years on a labor and delivery floor as a Registered Nurse, I saw firsthand how inconsistent, non-individualized, non-evidence-based, non-holistic care can leave mothers feeling unseen or unsupported. Those experiences, combined with my own births - a scheduled cesarean section with my triplets and later a hospital birth that became unexpectedly traumatic - shaped my passion for helping families feel cared for, informed, and empowered.

My heart behind Good and Beautiful Birth and Lactation is to meet families right where they are - in their homes, in their stories, and in their faith - and remind them they are not alone. I believe every mother deserves gentle, compassionate guidance rooted in both knowledge and grace.
