Your Questions, Answered

  • I offer evidence-based, family-centered lactation support and doula services. This includes prenatal lactation education, postpartum feeding support (virtual), ongoing feeding memberships, labor doula care, and combined birth + lactation packages. My goal is to support you through pregnancy, birth, and feeding with steady, compassionate care.

  • I support families at all stages—expectant parents, postpartum parents, and families navigating breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, combo feeding, or formula feeding. All families and feeding goals are welcome here.

  • Not at all. Whether you’re exclusively breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing, combo feeding, or planning to use formula, I meet you where you are. Feeding your baby is the goal—how you get there should feel supported, not judged.

  • Each visit is tailored to you and your baby. We’ll talk through your concerns, assess feeding, review baby’s growth and output, troubleshoot challenges, and create a clear, realistic plan. You’ll leave with education, hands-on support (or visual guidance for virtual visits), and actionable next steps.

  • Yes! Virtual lactation visits are available and work wonderfully for many concerns, including latch troubleshooting, pumping support, feeding plans, and follow-ups. They’re a great option if you’re short on time or outside my travel area.

  • At this time, services are self-pay while I complete my IBCLC certification. Although I do not accept insurance directly right now, many families choose self-pay for flexible, timely support without insurance restrictions.

  • In-person services are available within my local service area in Missouri, with occasional travel availability. Virtual services are available anywhere. If you’re unsure whether you’re in my range, feel free to reach out!

  • Any time! Many families benefit from prenatal visits to prepare for feeding before baby arrives. Postpartum support is helpful as early as day one, especially if challenges arise. Early support often prevents small issues from becoming overwhelming ones.

  • Memberships offer ongoing, proactive support rather than one-time visits. They often include scheduled check-ins, messaging access, education, and priority booking—perfect for families who want consistent guidance and reassurance during pregnancy or the postpartum months.

  • As a doula, I provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and birth. I support your preferences, help you navigate options, and offer calm, grounded presence—while your medical team handles clinical care.

  • Yes. I support births in hospitals, birth centers, and home settings. Wherever you choose to give birth, my role is to support you and help you feel informed and empowered.

  • Absolutely. Partners are a vital part of the support system. I help partners feel confident, involved, and informed so they can actively support labor, recovery, and feeding.

  • You can book directly through my website or contact me via the inquiry form. Once booked, you’ll receive next-step details, intake forms, and guidance so you know exactly what to expect.

  • That’s completely normal—and you don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out. If you’re unsure which service is right for you, I’m happy to help you decide based on your goals, timeline, and concerns.

  • My background as a registered nurse, certified breastfeeding specialist, and a certified doula allows me to blend clinical knowledge with compassionate, non-judgmental care. I believe birth and feeding deserve time, patience, and support—not pressure.
